E noi iniziamo le nostre review con
Alexander Wang e Rodarte.

ALEXANDER
WANG
Cunard
Building. In scena la prima sfilata di Alexander
Wang dopo l’uragano Balenciaga.
Archiviato
il disappunto per la sostituzione di Ghesquière, quel che appare è potente
tanto da lasciare impressionati e fiduciosi per la prossima data parigina. Una
conferma - Wang è uno dei migliori
della sua generazione - e una sorpresa. Perché, accantonati i caratteristici echi
gym, Alexander dà vita a
un’evoluzione sofisticata del suo stile, sempre essenziale e cool ma con
un’attenzione maggiore a tagli, panneggi e stratificazioni di matrice
sartoriale.
Come
se il nuovo impegno creativo avesse già iniziato a modificarne il Dna.
Silhouette
leggermente over e allungate, tonalità basic con netto predominio del grigio,
dettagli da grande freddo (però le gambe sono nude. Farsi beffe del termometro ovvero uno
dei misteri delle cool girl).
Cunard Building. On stage there is the first Alexander Wang fashion show after the

Energetico
il finale con Alexander che esce a
ringraziare, sorridente e saltellante; esatta rappresentazione della gioia di
vivere.
RODARTE
Il
mezzo passo falso della scorsa stagione è storia vecchia; le sorelle Mulleavy tornano ai loro fasti. Con una
collezione a sé stante che sul filo dei ricordi compone abbinamenti imprevisti
e traccia nuove silhouette, fatte di stratificazioni pesanti, asimmetrie e
volumi spesso over.
The half false step of the last season is old
story; the Mulleavy sisters return
to their splendors.
The collection comes alive from the memories and
composes unexpected matches and new silhouettes with layerings, asymmetries and
oversized volumes.
Il
punto di partenza è l’adolescenza a Santa Cruz e le passeggiate sul boardwalk
con la varia umanità che lo popolava. Ciò che compare in passerella però è una
sorta di sedimentazione delle proprie memorie, intrecciate e filtrate in una
dimensione quasi onirica che diluisce ogni cosa, rendendola irriconoscibile e
poetica.
C’è
molto surf, con pantaloni larghi tagliati al polpaccio, body in vinile,
